Mutiara International Grammar School, Ampang Jaya
Mutiara International Grammar School (MIGS) is at Lot 707, Jalan Kerja Ayer Lama, Ampang Jaya, Selangor. Its private candidate page for the October/November series lists a fee of RM1,325 per paper and says fees are non-refundable once registration is confirmed. The deadline for that series is 30 July 2026 at 12:00 pm.
The school sets clear conditions. Candidates prepare themselves because no teaching is provided. They submit the registration form in person with a passport or ID, a copy of it and a passport-size photo. Payment is in ringgit, and cheques are not accepted.
The office is open Monday to Friday, with slightly shorter hours on Wednesday to Friday, and is closed at weekends. The page names Islamic Studies and Mathematics specifically and refers to general subject areas such as Business depending on capacity.
It does not name Accounting 0452, so ask the school directly before planning around it. Contact details are on the MIGS page.
Sri Emas International School, Petaling Jaya
Sri Emas International School is at Lot 1214, Seksyen 40, Batu 10, Lebuhraya Persekutuan, off Jalan SS7/2, 47300 Petaling Jaya. Its examination centre page for private candidates covers Cambridge IGCSE, O-Level and A-Level. For the November 2026 series, it offered early bird registration that closed on 16 July 2026. Registration is online through the school's Examanix portal, with a student guide and a manual form also provided.
The page links to a subjects-offered document, which is where you can check whether Accounting is available for your series. The exam department can be reached at exam.department@sriemas.edu.my or 03-2774 5434. As with any centre, timetables and notices to candidates are issued per series, so read them closely once you are registered.
Using these dates to plan
For the 2026 October/November series, MIGS set its deadline at the end of July and Sri Emas set its early bird date in mid July. Families planning for May/June can expect to register in the first part of the year, and can ask the centre for its exact calendar well before then. The figures above belong to the 2026 series, so confirm current fees and dates with each school.
If you live elsewhere in Selangor, such as Shah Alam, Klang, Subang Jaya or Puchong, the same online lessons apply. Choose the exam centre that suits your travel on exam day. Many Klang Valley families also consider the British Council venue in Kuala Lumpur, which our Kuala Lumpur guide covers. The areas overview lists every state guide.
How our lessons fit a Selangor student
Our teachers work on a shared screen, so a student can learn from home after school with no drive through peak traffic. Each lesson covers a defined topic, such as bank reconciliations, partnership appropriation accounts or the statement of cash flows. Exam-style questions and a practice set between sessions follow. A private candidate benefits from having the whole syllabus taught in sequence, because there is no school scheme of work to fall back on.
Book a one-hour paid trial class from RM75/hr, with the fee agreed on WhatsApp beforehand. The teacher will run a diagnostic and teach a live topic, then recommend a timeline matched to your exam series.
